Periodic response of a nonlinear axially moving beam with a nonlinear energy sink and piezoelectric attachment

چکیده

An efficient semi-numerical framework is used in this paper to analyze the dynamic model of an axially moving beam with a nonlinear attachment composed energy sink and piezoelectric device. The governing equations motion system are derived by using Hamilton’s principle von Karman strain-displacement relation Euler - Bernoulli theory. modeled as lumped mass point mass, spring cubic stiffness linear viscous damping element. device placed ground configuration. Frequency response curves presented determined introducing incremental harmonic balance continuation method for different values material parameters. Based on Floquet theory, stability periodic solutions was determined. Moreover, results validated obtained numerical well from literature. Numerical examples show significant effect frequency diagrams vibration amplitude reduction primary structure.
